About the Retreat
This 14 day Yoga retreat in Bali from Sunday 26th February to 11th Saturday March 2023 (check in will be on 26th February and check out will be on Sunday 12th March). The first 9 nights we will stay in a beautiful resort in Ubud and practice yoga, meditation, satsang and yoga philosophies.
After the nine days we travel to the beautiful island and we will stay a resort just near the ocean where you can go for snorkeling, sightseing and other watersports activities and we will be staying overthere two nights.
The last 3 nights we will stay in a beach resort at Sanur where there are long sandy beaches. Here you can do different water sport activities or hiden beautiful beaches and shopping and the airport is less than 30 minutes drive.
During the stay in Ubud we will also take a tour of the village, visit old temples and watch the purifying ceremony and visiting Volcano, Beautiful terraced rice farming, coffee plantation where they Make the most expensive coffee and traditional markets.
Optional: It is not an intense yoga retreat which means the schedules are not mandatory to follow. You are free to choose attend the sessions or do other activities.
Food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included during the first 9 nights of your stay. Only breakfast is included during the last 5 nights at the beach resorts giving you an opportunity to explore a variety of places to enjoy lunch and dinner.
Accommodation: We will stay the first 9 nights in Ubud (more like an international yoga village)at a beautiful resort surrounded by nature. The resort has a swimming pool, yoga hall, and different categories of rooms. Each room has air conditioning, mosquito nets, private bath room, balcony, tea and coffee making facility. After Ubud we stay two nights in a small beautiful Island called Nusa penida.
The last three nights we staing a beach rersort at Nusa Dua where there is hiden beaches, shopping and international resturents.

Ubud
Ubud is located in the middle of Bali. Ubud is the heart of Bali’s culture and the traditions. Ubud is known as the land of spiritual awakenings. The landscape is so beautiful surrounded with forest and terrace rice fields which is one of the attractions in Bali.
Most of Bali’s museums and galleries are centered in Ubud, as the artistic centre of the island. Ubud is home to silversmiths, stone carvers and painters, the Ubud Royal Palace, The Sacred Monkey Forest, and the famous Ubud Art Market.

Bucu View Resort
Bucu View Ubud Bali is a quiet retreat amidst tropical greenery in a calm environment in the jungle scenery, just 5 minutes’ walk from the Monkey Forest and Ubud Art Market. It features an outdoor pool, spa and yoga hall. The air-conditioned bungalows come with a TV, mosquito nets, and a fridge with minibar. Each room has a private bathroom with hot water. Bucu View Ubud Bali is a 45-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. It is a 10-minute walk from the Antonio Blanco Museum and a 20-minute drive from Bali Bird Park.

Who is leading the trip
Rajesh Dayakar
Rajesh is the leading yoga teacher in this retreat. He is a classic hatha yoga teacher who lives in Sweden and teaching yoga classes in Linköping and other cities. He was born and raised in Kerala, South India the land of Yoga and Ayurveda. He was working as a yoga teacher in Bali some years ago and also has been a guest teacher at other Bali yoga retreats. In this retreat Rajesh is teaching yoga classes, meditation, leading satsang, yoga talks and assist you to explore Bali. To read more about Rajesh please see the About us page.

Retreat Daily Schedule
Yoga Retreat Daily Schedule-2023
Venue: Bucu Valley resort, Ubud
Arrival day: Sunday 26th February we will meet you at Bali airport and take you to the resort in Ubud where we stay for the first 9 nights. welcome and introduction followed by an evening meditation. It is not an intensive yoga retreat. All activities are optional and you are free to chose to attend. Everyday during the first 9 nights stay at Ubud there will be two yoga sessions, two meditation sessions, talks on yoga philosophy, and Satsang.
Daily schedule from 27th February to 6th March
06.00 Optional gathering together in silence near the pool to observe nature and the sunrise.
06.30- 07.30 Morning guided meditation, mantra chanting and reading yoga philosophy text.
07.30- 07.45- Herbal or black tea and coffee.
07.45- 09.00 . Sivananda yoga class. (start with initial relaxation, pranayama, surya namaskar, yoga asana. The class finish with deep relaxation.
09.00- 10.00 Breakfast
10.00- 11.30 Break (swimming, reading etc)
11.30- 13.00 Yoga philosophy
13.00-14.00 Lunch
14.00-16.30 Free time for relaxation or to explore the local area.
16.30- 18.00 Yoga class
18.00-19.00 Dinner
19.30-20.15 Satsang with guided meditation
Schedule for Monday 7th of November
On the 7th of March we will take a taxi after breakfast to the beach resort in Nusa Penida island. It takes around 60 to 90 minutes to drive and after that we take a ferry/ boat to reach the island and it takes 45 minutes to reach.
Check in hotel and enjoy the rest of the day with snorkelling or water sport activities, long sandy beach or relaxing by the swimming pool
Daily schedule from Tuesday 8th of March to Friday 9th November
06.00 Optional gathering at the beach in silence and watching the sunrise.
06.30-07.00 Guided meditation on the beach.
07.15 – 08.45 Sivananda yoga class.
08.45 – Breakfast
On 8th November after the breakfast Rajesh will take you to the beautiful sightseeing around the island.
The rest of the day is free to enjoy sunbathing on the beach, relaxing by the swimming pool,sightseing or enjoy other water sports activities. We are happy to arrange variety of activities for example surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, etc.
on 9th March we take the ferry back to the beach resort and staying the last three nights over-there.

06.30-07.00 Guided meditation on the beach.
07.15 – 08.45 Sivananda yoga class.
08.45 – Breakfast
The rest of the day is free to enjoy sunbathing on the beach, relaxing by the swimming pool, shopping, etc. We are happy to arrange variety of activities for example surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving during the last 5 days stay.
Our final evening on Friday the 11th of November we shall gather together for a farewell dinner.
Saturday 12th of March: Check out time from the hotel is 11.00.
If you are leaving on 12th of November we can arrange a taxi to the airport.
Retreat Prices
There are three different categoeries of room available for the first 9 nights. At the beach resort has one categorie room for everyone. The total retreat price will depend on your choice of the room category during the stay at Ubud resort.
The price includes 14 nights’ stay, all yoga classes, philosophy classes, meditation and satsang. Transportation to and from Bali airport, from Ubud resort to beach resort. Three meals for the first 9 nights at Ubud resort and breakfast only at the beach resorts for the last 5 nights.
Price for per person (twin share bed room you have to share the room with other participant) and Single room means one person in one room.

WHAT IS INCLUD
All 14 nights’ Accommodation in single or twin share room
All yoga classes, meditation, yoga philosophy talk and satsang.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner during the first 9 nights’ stay in Ubud.
Breakfast is only included for the last 5 nights’ stay at the beach resorts.
Transportation to and from airport and between resorts.
Day tour to visit Tanah Lot Temple, Waterfall, Volcano, Coffee plantation and Terraced rice field.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
Flight tickets and visa. (Bali has a free visa for 30 day and it applied for EU)
Transportation for extra activities such as visiting temples, shopping, etc.
Lunch and dinner for the last 5 nights’ stay at the beach resorts (here you get a chance to get variety of traditional Balinese food also the place is wellknown for international restaurents.

Traditional Balinese massage is available at the hotel and the service is provided in your room.
Price: 190 Sek /1 hr ( You can find many spas around the resrts and they offer variety of massages , facial and ther wellness treatments and some time you can find 1 hr massage for 100 kr.
Balinese massage was developed in the Indonesian province of Bali, with influence from the traditional medicine systems of India, China, and Southeast Asia. Balinese massage techniques include acupressure, skin rolling and flicking, firm and gentle stroking, percussion, and application of essential oils.

Bike Renting
With a scooter in Bali you can get anywhere you want, often faster than if driving a car in Bali. It’s the best way to get around in Bali.
If you know how to ride a bike then you can rent a bike from hotel and take short ride to explore around the village and the city.
Visa
Bali has a free visa which is for 30 days stay with out visa and is applicable for many of the EU countries.
Flight
There are many flight companies flying to Bali from Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo.
